The Miguel Hernández University of Elche was created by Law 2/1996, of December 27, of the Valencian Government, beginning its teaching activity in the academic year 1997-1998. Its main headquarters are located in the city of Elche, and it is made up of 4 Campuses: Elche, Sant Joan d’Alacant, Orihuela and Altea.
