The Miguel Hernández University is ranked among the universities in agricultural studies.

According to results from the CYD Ranking published in the newspaper *Información*, Miguel Hernández University (UMH) ranks among the top institutions for agricultural studies—specifically regarding the Bachelor’s Degree in Agri-food and Agro-environmental Engineering taught at the Orihuela Higher Polytechnic School (EPSO). It holds a top position in the ranking based on performance rates for bachelor’s and master’s degrees, student success rates, and faculty qualifications, placing it on par with the University of Lleida among the best institutions. Furthermore, the CYD Foundation has highlighted the opportunities UMH offers in the fight against climate change, particularly regarding education in this field; the university provides training courses on the Sustainable Development Goals and the 2030 Agenda for the entire university community. Additionally, it offers various bachelor’s and master’s degrees in environmental sciences that train professionals in sustainable intervention, enabling them to contribute to environmental care across all areas of action. This educational portfolio includes the Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Sciences and the Bachelor’s Degree in Agri-food and Agro-environmental Engineering, as well as master’s degrees in Agroecology, Rural Development, and Agrotourism; Automation and Remote Control for Water and Energy Resource Management; Solar and Renewable Energy; and Management, Treatment, and Valorization of Organic Waste, among others.
